gg is a character I created in 2002 after crowning myself “Miss Most Miserable Single Sarasota Girl.” It was not the happiest time. gg lives and works in Sarasota and owns property in many markets. She is very good at what she does (wealth management) and makes a lot of money for herself and others. She grew up in California (like me), loves Sarasota (like me), and makes money hand over fist based on her creativity and ingenuity (like Goldie Hawn).

She does. Her body is beautiful. It is sexy, shapely, healthy, womanly and wonderful. But sorry, I can’t draw that because THAT takes many different forms. To draw gg’s body would be to enter what I call “The Great American Body War” that women wage against themselves and I won’t do that. gg’s body is beautiful and I like to think of gg as every woman.

I write this blog. Me…Amy…gg’s friend (the word “Creator” is a little big for me…but I LOVE it). Writing is a craft that is best described in Stephen King’s incredible book, “On Writing - a memoir of the craft.”

When is 75% good enough? Sure, I’ll take 75% of a lot of things and be happy. For example, I like being 75% naked. Or, sometimes, 75% clothed. 75% of a big stack of pancakes is good. If I’ve got 75% of 3 million dollars in the bank, I’m not complaining.
Maybe 100% is overrrated. When people brag about giving 110%, maybe we should dig a little deeper. Ask a few more questions.
So that’s what I’m asking. When is 75% a good thing?
